THOHO Group (Pty) Ltd , founded by Mr. Ntavha Nemukula in 2006, has since seen the group venture out into various companies such as Funeral Services, Property and Development, Records and Investments, to name a few.  Mr. Ntavha Nemukula holds the position of Executive Chairman and sits on various boards of companies as Non-Executive Chairman.

Executive Chairman

Mr. Ntavha Muhammed Nemukula is the visionary Execute Chairman and founder of THE THOHO Group of Companies, a multifaceted enterprise operating across strategic sectors in South Africa and beyond. Mr. Nemukula's educational journey reflects a deep commitment to academic excellence and personal growth. His foundational years were shaped by diverse regional experiences—beginning in Soweto, Gauteng and continuing in Frankfort, Free State for his primary schooling. He completed high school in KwaZulu-Natal, before advancing to tertiary education at three leading South African universities. He holds two degrees in Economics and Accounting from Rhodes University. He furthered his studies at the University of Johannesburg, where he pursued an Honours degree in Accounting. In 2006, while completing his articles at Deloitte and Touche, he founded THE THOHO Group of Companies, driven by a strategic vision to focus on specialised markets. That same year, he also enrolled at the University of South Africa to pursue an Honours degree in Economics.
Mr. Nemukula's success stems from his exceptional leadership, strategic foresight, and ability to harness insights from sector specialists. Under his stewardship, THE THOHO Group has expanded its footprint across four South African provinces—Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, the Free State, and the North West—as well as internationally, with operations in the United Kingdom (London and Nottingham), Russia, and several Southern African countries including Lesotho, Eswatini, and Mozambique. His entrepreneurial spirit, combined with his deep understanding of complex markets, has positioned THE THOHO Group as a dynamic and influential player in the business landscape.

 
Financial Director 

Ms Akhona Sankqela  is a SAICA accredited General Accountant and a registered Tax Practitioner with more than nine years’ experience in finance.
She joined the THOHO Group of companies during October 2012 and holds the position of Financial Director of the Group. Her strengths go beyond the keeping of score, she is a value adder, a policy developer and is passionate in matters of compliance.

 
Head of Human Resources 

Mrs. Thembi Nemukula holds a Diploma in Marketing from Boston Media House, a certificate in Specialised Project Management from University of Witwatersrand, and an Advanced Diploma in General Management from Gordon Institute of Business Sciences (GIBS). She oversees five key HR responsibilities and ensures that the group abides with the LRA. She is now the Head of Human Resources for the THOHO Group of Companies where she can help provide organizational structure and the ability to meet business needs by effectively managing the employee lifecycle.

 

 
Director: THOHO Energy and related Group subsidiaries 

Nomzamo Fihla is a seasoned business executive, with experience in a vast number of industries. Her experience ranges through Business Process Outsourcing, Innovation Management, Skills Development and Corporate Social Investment. She holds a degree in Business Management Leadership from the University of the Free State and several certificates in ICT. Nomzamo brings her passion for innovation and technology to the THOHO team.

 

 
THOHO Energy Technologist 

Mr Themba Mashabane, has a 4 year Baccalaureus Technologiae in Electrical Engineering and 2 year Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration. He is currently studying towards the Government Certified Engineer qualification. Mr. Mashabane has 13 years of experience in Power System, Distribution, Transmission and Generation (renewable and conventional) Energy. He has further experience in Designing and Commissioning of Power System Infrastructure.
